Born in Mobile, AL, Kid Kilam grew up mainly in Huntsville, AL with his older brother and younger sister. Influence by music at a young age, he began rapping at the age of 12 even performing at his 13th birthday party.

Kid Kilam also makes beats for some of his songs which will be featured on the upcoming mixtape entitled Keep My Distance.
